Q. How long have you been at Lucite International?
A. I began working on site in 2007 as agency employee, I’ve been a full time employee since 2010.

Q. Describe working for the Company in three words
A. Varied, Challenging, Enjoyable.

Q. What do you do in your role on a day to day basis?
A. I monitor the performance of the plant and attempt to correct any variance seen from our KPIs. I also provide technical advice to the production teams with any ongoing issues to aid improvement.

Q. What has your training and development been like?
A. I have attended training courses on a broad range of subjects relating to both technical aspects of my job and also management and leadership skills. I have also worked in several roles since joining the company which has led to a wide range of on the job training and experience.

Q. How would you describe the work environment and Company culture?
A. There is a very strong safety culture which influences all aspects of our manufacturing alongside a strong team goal to achieve the best product possible.

Q. What do you enjoy most about your role?
A. The variety that my role offers in both the challenges faced on a daily basis and the people who I work with to achieve our goals.

Q. What advice would you give to somebody considering applying to Lucite International?
A. Working for the Company has allowed me to experience much more than I would have considered beforehand. The opportunities presented working in a multi skilled environment, as part of the manufacturing team, have allowed me to learn much more about my strengths and areas where I need to improve.
